RM: While I don't know anything about him, this 29-year-old veteran
looks like an excellent stabilizing force for the Chargers' WR room,
depending on his salary requirements.

He's played in at least 14 games for 7 of his 8 seasons, although he's
only been a starter for 4 1/2 of those seasons.

Boyd is apparently going to sign with Tennessee. However, this article
argues that it's a good thing:

The article contends that the Chargers need an X receiver (split out
wide), whereas Boyd is primarily a slot receiver. From other sources, it
appears that Chark can play the X receiver position and is therefore a
better fit for the Chargers. He'll also be cheaper, at about $5M/season
rather than Boyd's reported contract of almost $8M/season.
