Note that I think Texas may come back so I await the halftime lines, but jesus
this is not a good sign. If Arky can bend Texas over for a whole half like this what about the actual good teams in the sec?

Texas is about at the same level as USC these days.

So, if they end up in the SEC West, which is a no brainer, they get to
play Arkansas, LSU, Auburn, A&M, and Bama every year. And the fixed
crossover game? OU.

When A&M left the Big12, they were a 500 team. They immediately started winning a lot more in the SEC, presumably due to the change in competition.

Maybe Texas, another 500 Big12 team, can also find success in the SEC.

no, as I posted in another thread there is going to be a revamping of the way schedules are done. You are no longer going to
play 6-7 of the same opponents every year.....there are going to be like 3 annual games with the same opponents(protecting the rivalries....although 2 would do really), and then move to a 9game schedule which allows for half the other teams
to be played every year so you do end up seeing every team twice in 4 years.
