That is......bad.

That shouldn't even be a borderline decision on whether or not to go for it.. If it had been 4th and 4 at the florida 40 yard line, I could see how there is a debate. I'd go for it in that situation, but I could see how a very conservative coach might punt? But 4th and 2 at the opponents 40? How the hell do you punt that.....from an analytical perspective, it's horrendous and unjustifiable. They lost a prime scoring chance and voluntarily turned the ball over for what turned out to be 20 yards of field position....absurd.

Wonder if the fans are beginning to take up a collection for the big SEC fine coming if they pull this off, with the predictable aftermath...
