CLEVELAND – Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers because of right adductor tightness.

The 33-year-old missed Monday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans because of right knee soreness. The Warriors will conclude their second back-to-back set of the season on Monday in Detroit.

Thompson is averaging 16.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists across five games this season while shooting 47.8% from the field and 42.9% from deep.

The five-time All-Star connected on a mid-range jumper with 0.2 seconds left to beat the Sacramento Kings at Chase Center on Wednesday. He scored 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting in Golden State’s 141-139 defeat of the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.

Rookies recalled: Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandin Podziemski were recalled from the Warriors’ G League affiliate in Santa Cruz on Saturday.

The rookies were assigned to Santa Cruz on Friday ahead of Golden State’s four-game road trip. Head coach Steve Kerr said their time would be better spent working out with the G League team in training camp.

Jackson-Davis, the 57th pick who was acquired by the Warriors on draft night, has averaged 6.5 points and five rebounds in two appearances this season.. Podziemski, the No. 19 overall pick, made his NBA debut on Monday against New Orleans.
