I have made my predictions for all other AFC playoff contending teams, and if correct, the Dolphins could end up number 8 seed only one game back after week 16 if they win the Saints game.

Even better, if the Bills beat the Patriots and the Dolphins beat both the Saints and the Titans, the Dolphins will be in a position to clinch a playoff berth by knocking the Patriots out in week 18.

Long odds against continuing the streak three more games, but none of those teams look unbeatable. Especially if Derrick Henry is not back for the Dolphins game.

I refuse to invest much hope in this possible outcome, after all, I have been a Dolphins fan for a long time.

But as of now it is possible.

While I'm happy we are not yet mathematically eliminated, the odds are
long, really. Those easily winnable games that were lost are a lodestone
about ours necks.

Obviously, the Dolphins have to beat the Saints for anything to matter. But IF they do, the next most important game is the Bills and Pats. I like the Bills in this one. If that happens, they would be tied at 9-6 with the Bills owning the division record tiebreaker. I want the Bills to win the division, that would put the Dolphins destiny with regard to the Pats in their own hands.

Either the Bengals or Ravens will lose (playing each other) and one or the other will be 8-7. I'm betting the Chiefs beat the Steelers and the Broncos beat the Raiders. Green Bay should beat the Browns.
