Andrew Wiggins slammed a car door on his right index finger this
morning. Had difficulty shooting this morning. Out tonight. Steve Kerr
thinks it’ll be short term.

Moses Moody will start tonight for the Warriors. Brandin Podziemski will
play off the bench, per Kerr.

Starters: Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Moses Moody, Draymond Green, Kevon
Looney.

Warriors officially announce updates on Chris Paul and Gary Payton II.
Paul’s re-evaluation on Monday. No structural damage. Ruled out at least
the next two games. Payton re-evaluation in a week.

Some clarity: Payton’s calf strain (which is a tear) will keep him out
longer than the one week official re-evaluation. Warriors expect to have
a better grasp on severity/recovery timeline over next week. Paul’s
nerve issue is improving. Expectation remains it’ll be short term.

Key is that a strain = some degree of tearing (two different ways of
saying the same thing). It can be microscopic (grade 1), partial (grade
2), or complete (grade 3). Re-evaluation in a week is a very positive sign.

Good news that GP2 will be re-evaluated in a week. Key is that a strain
= some degree of tearing (graded 1-3).

For CP3, nerve contusion = bruising of nerve that can typically can
pain, numbness, or weakness. Resolution of symptoms usually = return to
play.
