Got my wordle in 5. But looking back at that one, definitely disappointed in myself for guess #4. Led me to the right answer, but I knew it was wrong because I was using a letter that had already been eliminated. Not much I could have done to get quordle better other than just be luckier.

After 50 games in daily mode, most (all?) using four starter words (brand stump weigh flock):
42 wins in 8
7 wins in 9
1 loss
I have several wins in 7 and a few in 6 in practice mode, where I’m willing to do more guessing, but I also have a higher loss rate in practice mode. I would use this same strategy in Wordle if I did easy mode and only cared about maintaining my win streak, without relying so much on luck, and if I didn’t care about the number of guesses needed to win.

Got my wordle in 5. But looking back at that one, definitely disappointed
in myself for guess #4. Led me to the right answer, but I knew it was
wrong because I was using a letter that had already been eliminated. Not
much I could have done to get quordle better other than just be luckier.

We (wife and I do these together) bombed this (yesterday’s) Quordle, only
getting two of the words.

It was a failure of discipline. The first starting word was tantalizingly
close to solving one of them so rather than sticking with our strategy we
chased that word, wasting enough guesses that we ended having to chase
others, and ran out of guesses. If it was poker you could say we went on
tilt after losing an early pot.
