28 - M Volleyball (Hawai'i)

For those of you who remotely care, a conference that wins an NCAA championship open to Division I schools gets a number of points equal to the number of Division I schools that sponsor it (this includes schools that are normally Division II but play as Division I in that particular sport; also, football counts both FBS and FCS schools, although only the CFP winner is considered the champion), with a 25% bonus for men's sports to account for the fact that the total number of women's teams over all sports is 25% higher than the number of men's sports (in no small part because a school needs 5 women's sports with 17 players each to match the 85 men who play football); in the rare case that a Division II or III school wins a national championship open to Division I, the points go to the division instead of a conference.

The SEC was well behind the ACC and Big 12 just two weeks ago, with only 1013 points, but it swept the last three championships - men's and women's outdoor track and field, and baseball - worth a combined 1067 points.
