Well, the young players the Warriors traded away, anyway.

Wizards' stats:

Ryan Rollins has played in 9 games, averaging 6.7 minutes and 4.3 points.

Patrick Baldwin Jr. has played in 8 games, averaging 5.8 minutes and 2.1
points.

So they're not developing any faster than they were with the Warriors.

Now let's look at Detroit's stats:

Wiseman has played in 18 of 29 games, started none. In those games, he's
averaging 14.3 minutes, 6.8 points, and 4.2 rebounds.

Alec Burks, who played 48 games for the Warriors in 2019-2020 before
being traded to the 76ers, is also on this Pistons team, which has now
lost 26 in a low, tying the league record. Overall they are 2-27 (so
they opened 2-1) and are in their first season under coach Monty
Williams, who received so much sympathy when his wife died several years
ago.
