Illinois is playing MisState in Tampa this year. I am sorry that
he won't be on the sideline.

My wife loves that one. And it’s good advice. I got married at the summer at the end of my first year in grad school. Just before summer started, they asked me to teach a lecture course at the last minute - quite an honor at 23. But also meant that along with research, I was writing lectures for a class that met every day. Needless to say, I barely ever went home and slept in my office about half the time. Thus, I had little input in the wedding and merely showed up and did my part. Worked perfectly for all parties involved.

Wives like his wedding clips. They aren’t as fond of his “fat little
girlfriends” ones.

But I give the guy credit. He was married for 35+ years and successfully
kept his family out of the limelight.

He was just cast from a different mold than almost every other football
coach. RIP.
