If weed is so not a big deal than why do these weed shop hire armed guards??

I'm so sick of it everywhere you turn a new pot shop opens!!

Her biological mother died & she reacted by
smoking pot. Even though legal in most U.S.
states, its usage is banned by many sports
entities, though many of them (including the
NFL) have lessened their monitoring & pen-
alties for its usage.

Don't know about weed shops or their usage
of armed guards. I suspect that using armed
guards, shops selling anything, that they do
so due to fear of theft or harm to those work-
ing & selling or customers buying the products
they sell.

a draft bill Wednesday to end the federal pro-

About damned time.

We've got advertisements for mind altering substances on TV all the
time. It's OK if a corporation is a pusher, just not a black guy.
The war on weed wasn't even about weed. Nixon used it against groups on
his enemies list, and it snowballed because our country is so racist.

Ehrlichman was there at the start. That quote is a little surprising, as
other sources I've read associated marijuana with blacks rather than
hippies, but I'm too lazy to chase those down, and I probably should
take Ehrlichman as the top expert willing to speak anyway.
