So, you have found what you need for 3D in the document?

It looks funny your video.

I think so. I just need to find some time to code it up for myself.
Actually, iirc, somebody posted a frag in the fractalforum thread. I
should be able to plug right into my stacker in C++. Coding it up in
GLSL would be helpful.

;^) It's from one of my experimental vector fields. It's actually set to
the delay in the notes of the music that I also generated. Fwiw, check
these out:

If you have any question about the algebra, I'm here to help.

Here is a document that presents a series of rendering of 3D fractals. You can give the link to your friend David,
https://pengkuanonmaths.blogspot.com/2022/04/rendering-of-3d-mandelbrot-lambda-and.html

I have looked at your video and they appear to me a little creepy. I do not want to offend you, but I think my opinion may help in your choosing of animated object which would be more pleasant to viewers. The objects are too dense, which can be disturbing to some. Also, the objects are worm like or snake like, which are also disturbing.

I think objects that remind baby animal or human would be cute, and objects that remind plant would give peaceful feeling.

Sorry if my opinion offended you.

Oh, not at all. Actually, you are not alone. A majority of viewers seem
to find it a bit "creepy", so to speak. I will get to your fine work
after I am done with some essential timing work... ;^)

Sorry for the quoting botch! Damn. Your words should be attributed to
you, is the quoting messed up on your end? Even though, sorry, my vector
field work seems to produce some rather creepy results. Strange in a
sense...

No problem with the quoting, I see the botch but I understand the post.

>my vector field work seems to produce some rather creepy results. Strange in a sense...
So, it is a formula that produces these creatures, not a choice of you.
This made me think that for using my 3D vector field system, multiplication is not distributive over addition. If you have to compute A*D+B*D, you should not compute as (A+B)*D because this will give unpredictable result.

I created the formula. However, when I first created it I did not know
it would end up looking like Medusa high on cocaine or something... ;^o

The main formula is N-ary, so it can handle any dimension. I have
created 4d fields, but I do not know how to plot 4d points. All I can do
it see how a 4d point influences the 3d world.

Yes. In general one does not know the output of formulae. But it is a excitement to see a formula become real.

I see in wiki
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four-dimensional_space#Shadows
that there are much research on 4D with shadows. But one cannot get the sense of 4D object and no one gets further.

I looked your 4D images in the links. But I cannot get a sense of 4D space.

In fact, I think that we 3D being cannot psychologically get the sense of 4D space with images. This is why whatever people have tried to make 4D visible in 3D, they never gets a big audience, because the readers are not excited by things they cannot see in image. So, I think it is better to put time on real 3D objects.

They show how an attracting point in pure 4d space, say (0, 0, 0, -1)
can influence points in pure 3d space (x, y, z, 0).

This is why whatever people have tried to make 4D visible in 3D, they never gets a big audience, because the readers are not excited by things they cannot see in image. So, I think it is better to put time on real 3D objects.

Hard to disagree with this!

This shows an attractor in 4d space at point {0, 0, 0, 1} influencing
the 3d world:

Alef in Fractalforum has brought out 3D fractals which are so strange. They are function of 3D exponential and are never seen before.

We can compare with the Mandelbrot power 2

They are really in two different world.

You have shown this image before. I do not know what it is about. Have you used the 3D formulae I gave you? Did they give you better experience or satisfaction?

Ah, this is new thing. It may be promising.
Did you use my formulae to do this?

Also, for you scary animation, maybe putting them in a real environment will make them pleasant, like with sea anemone

Not yet. I used a standard Mandelbulb iteration:
