Waxing poetic about how "sharp" the thing is with the new 50mm lens. No argument, it is. But WHEN and how often? On a tripod in studio sure, but as a street camera, with NO image stabilization?! The average shot out of it will not match tripod shots for sharpness except at shutter speeds high enough to mitigate shake which in this digital day and age means at least 2x the lens focal length, so 1/200th second or faster with a 50mm lens.

Judging by the colour fringing, it looks to me like the anti-aliasing filter is
required with this sensor, and this lens. Arguably, for fixed-lens street work
a mobile phone is adequate for much of the time.

all sensors require an anti-aliasing filter. it's basic sampling
theory. the lens is not relevant, other than better lenses produce
better results.
