The demonstration that the Earth orbits the Sun depends on the annual change in the position of the stars from an evening to morning appearance.

Mercury and Venus transition from both an evening to morning appearance as they move between the slower-moving Earth and the central Sun and from a morning appearance to an evening appearance as they pass behind the Sun. Jupiter and Saturn only transition from an evening to dawn appearance within this framework.

The openness with which these insights are presented is in stark contrast to the lack of any collaboration despite the necessity of presenting it as a visual narrative. I discount those who are on about priority as the works of the original Sun-centred astronomers lacked the satellite imaging to draw conclusions without the need for a hypothesis.

Once again, I don't mind those who try to explain the dual perspectives without attribution but they must be explained properly using separate frameworks and that has yet to happen.

How I love those people who appreciated the heliacal rising of the stars as they move from an evening to morning appearance even if they didn't appreciate that the orbital motion of the Earth causes it-
