It demonstrates that the North and South poles of Uranus, like those on Earth, turn parallel to the orbital plane and one pole is closer to the Sun that the other apart from the Equinoxes when they are momentarily at the same distance.

Neither Copernicus nor Galileo could resolve the 'third motion' because of the Ptolemaic framework but I have by recognising that aside from diurnal rotation, the Earth actually does turn to the Sun as a function of its orbital motion and referenced to either the Sun or the dark/light hemispheres of the Earth.

Having nobody to work with me is a horrible thing but such is the state of solar system research.
