Einstein statue receives mixed responses from students
Shweta Bhat on October 30, 2015 in Life

*********************
“Previously the statue had come under a lot of fire and people were questioning it … but after the success against FSU, people (on Yik Yak) are starting to believe that Einstein is a source of good luck. So they’ll start calling it the Ein-shrine. People are even suggesting that we put offerings in front of the statue before games,” claimed Arsène Lakpa, first-year CS major.

Hopefully the students’ general attitude will continue this trend to a more positive note in appreciation of the special statute.
*********************

NOTE: "The Ein-shrine".

SHRINE: "a place regarded as holy because of its associations with a divinity
or a sacred person or relic,"

It couldn't describe any better the CULT of the einstenian church. Einstein as
a divinity, a sacred person, to whom relativists worship as a pagan god.

Whatever, but I'm right. The students started TO BE ASSIMILATED by the einstenian cult.
Now, the statue is supposed to bring GOOD LUCK to them. So, they probably goes where
the statue is located and say some prayer. It's called PAGANISM in the civilized world.

And there are many examples in each country. Here, at Argentina, there are three or four pagan
figures to which thousand of persons worship. Search this one: "el gauchito gil".

Einstein has four main statues. Newton has three main statues. Maxwell has ZERO.

In 2013, the IEEE did a fundraising to clean and put a new tombstone in the grave of James Clerk Maxwell,
abandoned by the resented Englishmen that hated his pure Scottish blood.

He was much more than Newton and the cretin put together, and HE NEVER CHEATED, LIED AND DECEIVED like the other two.

Hmm. It appears that Richard's obsession with Einstein is so
overwhelming it appears he must be spending all his waking hours, when
not posting here, searching the internet for any evidence of people
"worshiping" Einstein. It's quite obvious that the "shrine" stuff is in
jest because of favorable football games since getting the statue. It's
kind of like the baseball fan who is wearing his lucky socks and won't
change them as long as his team is winning, since changing them will
break the winning streak. Do people with a rabbit's foot for good luck
worship the dead rabbit?

Astrology is the second oldest science, after barbecue,
