You are not alone! A plurality of observers see nebula. I am one of
them. My IFS is nearly 7-8 years old for it.

Fwiw, here is a result of one of the IFS's in the multijulia that I
created in order to render the "nebula". It's "isolated" here:

It is a "special" form of a more "generalized" multijulia algorithm.
Paul was kind enough to use the algorithm to create some renderings:

My "nebula" rendering uses some more rules during iteration, and some
special coloring rules. I actually should dig up my old code and
resurrect it. I should port it over to my more recent plotting code.
