North bound at Mountain Pass is out. No problem, i'll drive pass the center media to the south bound charger. I wonder if that would damage my tires. OK, i'll bring the tire repair patch with me.
https://www.plugshare.com/location/308971

Plugshare doesn't even know about the up-coming EA and Evgo stations at Primm. I wonder if they will let me tap into the high voltage transformer at the construction site.

No change from months ago. Still out at Jean.
https://www.plugshare.com/location/205833

Well, i have enough batteries (#3, #4 and #5, 3.6kwhr each) to jump from Baker to Vegas, but i need to break open the plastic housing and solder two wires to it. Takes around 15 min each.

They sell for $149 each here, but i got them for less.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/265746423218

I got around 100 of them, did 32x for #3. 64x more to go. Plenty of work to do while charging.

Well, Mr. President, perhaps you can help solve this charging problem.

He is pushing everybody into EV, killing off Keystone XL and DW drilling in GOM. He is also begging Iran and Saudi for more oil, while stopping domestic productions.

We understand it's necessary, but broken chargers every 50 miles won't help. As one driver put it mildly, the charging infrastructure is just "pathetic".

WTF does Keystone have to do with any of this? How does anything petroleum related have anything to do your insane ideas of BEV driving?

Where do you get your insane ideas?

No, I don't really want to know.

Yeah, if you depend on second tier charging networks, that's what you get. I don't have that problem with my car. The Tesla network seems to work pretty well.

If you can find gas stations to fuel it. When BEVs become 90% of the cars on the roads, 90% of gas stations will have closed.

But that's not what Biden, or anyone else said. This is Larkin's misconception of what people say. By 2035 all cars sold in the US will be BEV. There will still be many, many running on the roads then. Larkin knows that. But he's the sort that likes to distort what others say, so he can criticize and ridicule.

That's what Larkin is about, finding strawmen that he can compare himself to so as to feel better about himself.

Yes, Tesla has L2 charging at Primm. It's just a problem for every other EV, until the DCFC working at EA and EvGo stations.

I got plans:
Plan A: tap in high voltage transformer at future EA station, next to Tesla.
Plan B: bring several portable batteries in my luggage. Charge my luggage at the hotel/casino next to the slot machines. Cost: +/- 100 bucks, depending on my luck,
Plan GG: Gas Generator gets around 10 miles per gallon, burning on top of the world.
Plan AAA: tow it.

Barstow, Baker, Primm, Las Vegas (multiple). Tesla has been busy. They are about 50 miles apart. But that still might not be close enough for your POS that should never be taken on trips.

Plan 2: go to jail.
