That's another one of those phony net zero carbon energy technologies. It will never be accepted.

Accepted. All the net zero schemes are being rejected except under special circumstance. Then there's this:
Jet fuel is the fourth most-used petroleum product in the United States. Jet fuel consumption averaged about 1.37 million b/d (58 million gallons per day) in 2021, accounting for about 7% of total petroleum consumption.

So the gajillion $ 100 MW photosynthesis plant takes an entire year to produce 1/6 of the daily consumption of jet fuel. That sounds kind of laughably unworkable.

it doesn't matter
what matters is an efficiency of such production of jet fuel.

It's all about energy storage, solar energy converted into some other form of energy.

Hydrogen is more complicated in handling.

US DOE discussed about 100+ energy storage technologies via public tech service, I have joined in 10 years ago.
