Yes, definitely, by Biden signing the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The IRA covers a LOT of ground. Progressives and Democratic activists have been pushing hard for drug pricing reform for decades. They knew exactly what they wanted and stuffed as much as possible into the IRA. The law now authorizes the Secretary of Health and Human Services to negotiate drug prices with the suppliers, and some other punitive things, hence the price cut.
