If only the left were as powerful as wingnuts seem to think it is. I
drove by the local Tesla dealership a few times recently, after
Christmas, they seemed busy enough.

They've swung a bunch of well-to-do MA residents who'd usually be buying
BMWs but a Tesla in the driveway is the new in status symbol. And they
care about as much as to what Elon Musk is doing in his spare time as
they do about what the CEO of BMW was doing in his spare time when that
was their brand.

No, I doubt the libs are going to successfully boycott Tesla any more
than the right successfully boycotted the NFL - talk about virtue
signalling! Millions of people didn't like that a black guy didn't stand
for the flag and refused to ever watch again. for like, a month. Maybe.

It's not about the LA Times writer, it's about what he represents. Things are not looking good for Tesla. This is absolutely the wrong time for something like this to be happening now that people have a bunch of alternatives.

That's old data. And if you find recent data, there will be on average a 6 month delay between sale and delivery. The mass media is really piling it on, Musk is lumped right in there with the insurrectionist Times Square pushcart fried chicken salesman. The stuff with Twitter employee abuse and operating slave labor factories in China isn't go over very well either. Although the slave labor stuff hasn't seemed to hurt Apple one bit.
