There're a bunch of different categories of crime committed in California every day. So how come you're singling out gun crimes?

To listen to one not-so-level-headed Republican congressman from Arizona, it's "liberal, transgendered, illegal immigrants" doing all this shooting. Once the medical science finally develops an amyloid plaque inhibitor, the GOP will be out of business in the course of year.

Insufficient health care, ignoring incompetent people working in the industry, is mostly an issue of people being un- or under- insured.

That whole COVID-19 fiasco was absolutely free care, even the very lengthy hospital stays. It was all charged to Medicare. Every last bit of health care from vaccines, prevention, and treatment was free to the recipients. They didn't have to pay a dime.

And COVID is not the only one. If you're diagnosed with infectious disease, public health gets in on the act quickly, investigating how you came down with it and who you came in contact with.

You're obviously unaware of what was going on in U.S. They set up massive drive-thru COVID testing stations all over the place. People didn't even have to get out of their cars. CDC also sends by mail multiple free rapid antigen tests to anyone who requests them.

Regular contact or not, people usually don't present themselves to get "looked at" until they're exhibiting symptoms.

Local public health happily screens walk-ins for diagnostic screening all the time. People don't have to provide any kind of identification, they're assigned a code to be used to retrieve their test results anonymously. If a person lives in Timbuktu where they don't have those services, they can go to a locale that does, it shouldn't be far.

They may be more socialist than the US - sane people do tend to be - but they certainly aren't "utlra-socialist", what ever that might mean. Cuba and Kerala might qualify for that label. Russia and China certainly don't.

If it would only affect her I could see it as too much government.
However if she is out in the public she could infect others. Just like
if someone has VD all their sexual partners need to be notified so they
can get treatment. She does need to be isolated during the treatments.

If it was something that would not transmit like cancer then she
probably would not have to be forced to get treatment.
