to get to their billion light years distance.
Then their light had to travel back to us...

NASA pointed out the most distant object was a star and not a galaxy...
but galaxies are just the same..

Those most distant objects took time to get where they are.
That was far after they were close together at the BB.
After that time the light we see of them had to travel
across the universe back to us. So the universe in its now is much
bigger than we will ever observe it to be.
