Is this the MIT Dan Christensen now teaching at Univ Western Ontario, math dept.

Say Dan, is the reason that MIT Gilbert Strang, uses Reals in his Calculus but never defines them, yet on page 360 defines complex, is that Dan, or Jan Burse, the reason for that ellipsis is due to Global Dumbnification of the soul and mind, of so many math professors, as if they are sucking in the Fire-CO2 from the air directly in Boston's air pollution? See AP's Global Dumbnification, where a human mind brain is reduced to nattering nuttering, and never able to tell the difference between a ellipse and a oval, no matter how many eye exams taken.

AP writes: yes, especially do not become a victim of the scatterbrain Strang and his CALCULUS.

In his 1991 Calculus, the fool does not even develop or talk about the Reals, the numbers he uses throughout the book, and then on page 360 of a 615 page book sees fit to talk about Complex Numbers when he never had the time to talk about Reals. So mangled in logic is Strang that I would expect him to talk about Green's, Stokes, Divergence theorem in the first chapter. The logical mind of Strang, in my opinion was just never equipped to be able to write a education text book on Calculus. Perhaps as a commentator, Strang would be excellent, but as someone to put together a college textbook that requires logical flow, without jumping all over the place in every page, is beyond Strang, in my humble opinion, and the students suffer.

Everyone on Earth has heard of Global Warming or Climate Change caused by the human activity of burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil, gas and causing the atmosphere to build up the molecule of carbon dioxide, CO2. An isomer in chemistry is a molecule of the same exact formula CO2 but two different geometries of how the carbon is bonded to two oxygen atoms. And it is Fire-CO2 isomer that is so dangerous to human and animal health and even plant life health. Fire-CO2 is created under higher energy such as a fire where the carbon atom bonds in between the two oxygen atoms. CO2 that is the Animal-CO2 isomer has the carbon atom bonded on the periphery of the two oxygen atoms and requires little energy to form, such as when animals breathe in O2 they cause respiration to form CO2, but Animal-CO2 of little energy requirement. The Fire-CO2 is so dangerous to health of animals that it causes what I call the Dumbnification of the human species, so dumbnified that in most circumstances, the human species makes the wrong decisions, simply because humanity in whole is no longer able to think straight, think clear.
