It's not a 'hyperloop.' It's a minimal, probably poor specified, low-ball budget proposal that will use 'just regular Teslas with human drivers.'

City mayor has concerns " Mayor Carolyn Goldman had a litany of concerns, including safety, low throughput of passengers, and a lack of accessibility." She's right about that. It's a chump tunnel to be used to shuttle a few passengers to some hotels in the city, it's not one iota of a mass transit system, and it most likely will not be a cheap fare.

Musk's idea for the hyperloop "...perhaps taking inspiration from Mad Magazine or the Usborne Book of the Future," -which would be about right for that joke.

Don't expect this kluge to become a world wonder.

We really need power generating and transport diversity to persist a species.
