if i'm not quick
i won't be able to
catch the string..
and it continues to
go up..

and it disapears
i can no longer
see it..
but
the balloon
is still moving fast
and it isn't smaller
but from the
ballon's perpective
i stopped.

Einstein assumed that the observer's clock goes fast and thus the observed clock go slow.
Actually the observes clock can go fast or slow compared to the observed clock.

dilation". He also derived the fact that all clocks ALWAYS tick at their
usual rate, independent of their motion or location (this is a direct
consequence of his first postulate).
