Quite weird!

Have you considered asking about this on the Apple Support Communities
(ASC) forums? Somebody there may know.

Why don't you ask? Oh, that's right, you've been banned there.

One day it might dawn on you that getting yourself banned everywhere
isn't the best approach, but for now I guess you'll have to ask others
to ask questions on your behalf.

Meh.. it's not that weird.. they just replace %20 with a space for aesthetic purposes when displaying the link, even though the actual link has %20 (because a space character can't be used in a link).

I didn't know that! Thanks. :-D

Do you EVER use the ASC forums?

Yes - I do see them there in your screenshot. Thank you for taking the
time and trouble to do that to show me. :-D

I don't have the patience to experiment further. I'm fairly sure though
if I copied the address from my browser address bar and pasted it into a
different browser, the '%20' disappeared. I have no idea how this kind
of thing can happen - but it does!

Here's a screenshot showing what is in the address bar in Firefox (on my
iMac) https://imgur.com/a/xnUXoqf

I had to remove the < ....... > symbols for it to play!

Amazing that "greater than sign" and "less than sign" don't have a
simple name (like "carret" for "^"

You might like to look me up there and see what I used to talk about.

Perhaps you would also ask WHY the moderators there have given me a
lifetime ban from posting there under my own nym (HunterBD)

I can, of course, sign in with a different Apple ID.
A poster there called 'deggie' told me that doing so is common practice
and a real-life friend was TOLD by Apple Support to do that very thing.

Why not just tell him?

No. Look a few lines above, idiot. Instead of suggesting that he ask the
moderators why you've received a lifetime ban, why don't you just tell
him why you've received a lifetime ban? Is it just your nature to send
people the long way around the barn? Are you afraid that you wouldn't be
able to tell him honestly?
