If the Enterprise sets out on galaxy exploration at .99c,
what does it experience regarding space dust resistance?

Which is an obvious analogy to air resistance -

At .99c the space dust in the direction of travel would be 7 times denser than what we currently observe because of the length contraction of the universe in the direction of travel. The mass, and hence the momentum would be similarly affected. Although the cross-section of each dust particle would remain unaffected.

At the speed of light, the universe is infinitely dense with dust due to infinite Lorentz contraction. No photon can travel even a micrometer without quantum tunneling through through an infinitely dense dust wall. How do we know this statement to be true? Easy-peasy. We can see the stars at night.
