And PCs. There are some that are rigged to brick if you try to install
Linux on them. I'm pretty sure Google had something to do wtih it.

Billions, US deflation?

I think the CO2 and other government idiots just have stealing from companies as business model.
What do they do with it? buy weapons for Israel to use genocide on Palestinians?
All should simply not pay the fines, or taxes, and then US government will be dead
as welt as the loss making US Military Industrial Complex.
People like to buy nice things, bombs are hard to sell, that is why the CIA and joe byethen as their brainless
puppet is used to create wars so more taxpayers can be sucked.
You US guys should unite and simply refuse to pay taxes.
That way the war machine will come to a halt.
Will happen anyways, thousand are marching towards the US right now from Mexico, and will take over everything:
https://apnews.com/article/mexico-us-caravan-migration-5d0846e553799a0f4d9155ccefba89e0
Or maybe they will be burned as cannon food enlisted in the WW3 that byethen provokes for money.
Nobody will buy US debt, and peace will fill the planet...
? Well Darwin.. the best one will win and rewrite history.
Age of Aquarius or was it aquarium (glowball warming sea rise) let the sun shine in!

Anyways Happy Christmas to all!

I have mainly switched to Raspberries, those come with some Linux version and work OK.
Consumes less power too, cheaper, smaller...
3 on this table on 24/7 now..
I have a very old Asus eeePC sort of notebook,
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asus_Eee_PC
it came originally with Linux and I used it yesterday to drive my laser projector
to display an animated Christmas tree on the windows shields, so you can see it from the outside :-)
Linux is everywhere these days, in my router, my TV, laptop, space, where not...

I have no idea why people would even bother with MS products.
Moved to Linux in 1998 from Win3.1 running on MS DOS with trumpet winsock to SLS Linux with free gcc C compiler.

Here you can just order a laptop with Linux distro of your choice.
I have installed Debian, Slackware and other Linux distros on PCs no problem whatsoever.
As to google, I think it is one of the greatest things of this time
I can search for any question and find the answer in minutes.
The Raspberry Pi4 8GB I use to write this has Chromium browser, also firefox, dillo,
raspberrypi: ~ # apropos browser
chromium-browser (1) - the web browser from Google
dillo (1) - web browser
firefox-esr (1) - a Web browser for X11 derived from the Mozilla browser

Anyways many things are rigged for finite lifetime, even light bulbs were..
Seems MS has an update strategy that sucks bandwidth, forces you to buy ever more powerful hardware,
to do WHAT? Fix their bugs? security holes?
