Blood glucose is what matters. If the patient is insulin resistant, the blood insulin level doesn't mean much.

And glucose is a much simpler molecule than insulin, and correspodnigly easier to model.

Read the first line of my reaction. Only an idiot would waste tine measuring blood insulin - a difficult feat - when blood glucose is what matters.

Since you have to fast for 8 to 12 hours before have a blood insulin level that means anything when measured, a wristband monitor doesn't make a lot of sense.
