A a does make a habit of claiming this. Anything that he doesn't understand - and he doesn't understand much - gets labelled as low tech.

You can ask all you like, but if google doesn't make money out of the activty you request it isn't going to happen.

A a can't devise search strings to pull out the information he seeks, so he blames google for his own inadequacy.

> All the search engines are using AI -assist these days. Follow your query with a '?' to pull it up. The unfortunate part is the AI is just a dummy regurgitating results of its search on the topic and apparently doesn't vet anything. Not a really big help.

You have tailor the search string to get the kind of results you are looking for - in effect guess the form of words that would used by somebody who might have written something useful on the topic. That's easier when you already know quite bit about the topic. A a doesn't seem to know much about anything and Fred Bloggs frequnen tly doesn't know as much as he ought to.

They can't do everything, but they seem to be capable of directing the effort they've got to into areas that make money for them. You can only afford so much effort, and the art is to concentrate that where it makes you most money.
