I can animate this, but have to work on something else right now.

Sorry! ;^o

I like that little extension that you add. Afaict, for now, I think this
is the key to making it infinite?

Scaling the width of the lines during iteration. "Fatter" lines are
closer to the origin, skinnier lines are toward the end of the iteration
as a whole...

I like where you show the starting point.
Have you tried the new data I posted for the square lattice where I show the progressive
number for each RU,RD,LD,LU?

Not yet. The starting point is red and the ending point is green. So, it
ends up where it started. Nice! :^)

You could employ a color spectrum so it's easier to keep track of the sequence.

That would be interesting having a certain, for instance as the first--- RU = red then taking them
in orders of 4, (1) LD=yellow, (2)RD=blue, (3)RU = red, (4)LU=green and then repeat the order of
the 4 over and over till it reaches and completes LU the limit of data for building the lattice square
out then on the return path RD=blue then taking them in order of 4. (1) LD=yellow, (2)LU=green, (3)RU = red, (4)RD= blue and then repeat the order of 4 using the path back to origin data.
My last post I gave a good reason to believe an algorithm is possible to complete a square lattice
with a progressive layout of how after the initial RU=1 then taking each of the 4 sets repeated
you have, (2*LD,1*RD), (3*RU,2*LU) repeat-- (4*LD,3*RD),(5*RU,4*LU) repeat (6*LD,5*RD),(7*RU,6*LU)
repeat and so on until you reach an arbitrary limit like in this case a square lattice of the last 4 repeated
(12*LD,11*RD),(13*RU,12*LU). The pattern is obvious for an algorithm.
A nice color combination gong out forming a path and coming in filling that same path.
An interesting color combination of the final completed lattice.
The above would be the way to go with the colors selected or any other combination, agreed?
Thanks for the idea of using colors only I elaborated more but nice idea.
