Anyone have experience with the mid 2000's Toyota immobilizer kefobs?

Can only the dealer get you a new one?

Or can you get them online?

Every outfit I called said they'd sell keys and the remote (three buttons)
for self programming but not the immobilizer keyfob.

They said on the phone that only the dealer can do a new immobilizer fob.
Is that your experience?
