The word "'splain", if admitted into the English language, should be written
"splain". I don't think it is an English word. Clearly it is not a version of
"explain". But it exists and seems to be used as though it meant "debunk".

2 is better.

You don't have a TV and in particular didn't have one in the early 1950s!

A back-formation from "mansplaining"?

Uh, no.

You have probably never heard of Ricky Ricardo.

They say different things, of course.

Ricky Ricardo rings no bell to me,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucy_and_Ricky_Ricardo
although I do remember Lucy Ball from the 60s of 70s. But I never
found that funny, so I didn't really pay attention.

"Lucy Ball"?

Lucy Ricardo was played by Lucille Ball, who had had a long if undistinguished
career in B-movies, both dramatic and comedic, and then on radio before the
opportunity to transfer her successful radio series to TV. According to Aaron
Sorkin, who wrote and directed the new biopic about them, she agreed to do
the TV series if her husband would be played by her husband -- who was constantly
touring with his big-band and she wanted to be with him.

The various series she tried after the divorce, usually featuring Gale
Gordon and sad attempts at physical comedy, were not successful.
