Hard to tell absent a teardown of a similar level camera.

In the teardown you posted, there were more subassemblies than I
expected. Further, a lot of connectors - not very good.

Reliability is inversely proportional to parts counts + connections +
moving parts.

Wires are not fail points (generally), but their connectors are.

Flexible circuit connections themselves are very reliable and most often
result in the elimination of one connector - but the connector at the
other end is not.

I'm actually astounded at how reliable cars are given their complexity
these days and the astounding number of electrical connections under the
hood operating in very harsh conditions.
