In episode 5 of the Netflix show _Vikings: Valhalla_ a runic
inscription can be seen on a sword blade:

ᛏᚱᛁᚴᚢᛁ·ᛋᚢᛁᚱᚦᛁᛏ·

From the Wikipedia entry on the Younger Futhark, this can be roughly
transcribed as

trikui suirþit

with considerable leeway for the actual sound values.

Okay, the second word is interpretable in Old Norse:
sverðit "the sword" (nominative-accusative, definite)

But what about the first word? When I asked elsewhere, I received
suggestions that it might be a form of the "draw" (ON draga) or
"drink" (ON drekka) verbs. However that doesn't explain the suffixed
-vi(?).

Of course, this is a fictional inscription. It could simply have
a mistake. Or, for all I know, it might be a reproduction of an
actual historical find, which is even worse, because those can be
difficult to interpret.

Ideas?
