I know you did not like the arrows. In my next version I have have a
check box so a user can turn arrows on and off. Fwiw, try clicking on
the clear button several times in a row during an animation... :^)

Just right! Even for much smaller setting you do not want thicker lines. Even making them thinner the white on blue
background shows up fine where certain other colors are
hard to make out.
