Before, seems there was no caller ID. So I chose "Phone" as the calling app.
Now, seems there is no caller ID, AND it is "Unable to block numbers" every
time.

Why can't it block numbers?

Thanks.

Oddly... Searching Google for...

Google phone app "Unable to block numbers"

It says "33,000 results" while it displays less than 30 results
(on three pages), none of them having to do with the Google Phone app.

Because your network provider chose to not send the caller ID. Some
providers charge extra for it.

Without an ID, it is impossible to block numbers, there are no numbers.

I just got a callback/message from somewhere, saying that was the first time
the number called and saying it can be reported and blocked.
