That's cute indeed. I think without the pan-European vocabulary
and a few bits of Slavic vocabulary and grammar I remember I would
be thoroughly lost, though. Would you "understand perfectly well"
if the video was in Chinese?

I looked at it because you said it is "cute." I get nothing of the language
from the first minute or so, other than "ahtudent" and "tak." The most
interesting thing about it is that she's a "right-handed hooker" -- look at
how she holds the marker as she writes. That's the rarest of the four
possibilities. Most common are "right-handed non-hooker," then "left-
handed hooker." The noted scholar of writing Amalia Gnanadesikan
is a left-handed non-hooker.

Were they maybe "changing" lefties when video-person was a little girl
in Czechoslovakia?

It looks to be simply an adaptation of the "Cseh Method" of teaching
Esperanto, which was developped in the early 1920s. I never used it myself
but I saw it used very effectively.
