Subject: How are 3 consecutive vowels pronounced in Japanese?

In the song titled Sukiyaki for Anglophone audiences, two
consecutive vowels are pronounced separately, not as a
diphthong. Does that hold for three consecutive vowels too?

The word of interest is KAWAII meaning Cuteness. Does
each of the vowels take up one or two moras?

I don't know how to search for the page you found. The audio
clip sounds like [kɐʋɐji:] to my ear, 3 syllables. I found the
Hiragana spelling:
<https://www.google.com/search?q=kawaii+hiragana>
It indicates 4 syllables <kɐ ʋɐ i i> unless <i i> means a long
(2 mora) syllable.

I found it by googling kawaii, then found the kanji+hiragana and full
hiragana spelling (in Wikipedia, I think). I copy&pasted that to the
search line adding wiktionary, and found the pages I linked to.

I can't any of the four Japanese scripts myself.

KAWAII --- technically 4 moras, but often no different from KAWAI

kawai is Oldish, Poetic synonym.

Phys.Ed. is Tai-iku, and Taiku is a different word.

oka = hill
ooka = cherry flower (?), ooka-suru ("to enjoy its heyday")
oooka = big hill, or Surname, (or name of city)

It depends on emotion. Like if you can't get an airline out of Kyoto, late at night on a holiday and then suddenly you find one leaving in an hour named ANA, a native Japanese person might say Zennikkūūū (ぜんにっくうう, 全日空--).

Thanks for the example.
Why did you put macrons on the u's?
ぜ ze
んに nni
っく kku
うう uu
Not having heard it, I imagine it sounding like Zennikkuwoo.

I found that it's a short form; Nikku doesn't have its usual meaning of
Ray as in Ray of sunlight.

Zen Nikku u is short for zen nihon kōkū meaning All Nihon Airways..
nihon kōkū is Japan Airlines, so zen must mean All.

The onlyJapanese zen I knew of till now was etymologically from
Chinese chán from Sanskrit dhyaan meaning concentrated thought,
aka meditation, whence Zen Buddhism.

No. I never thought that would be an issue.

Then, you haven't heard it shouted or otherwise said in strong emotion? Perhaps?

If "zennikkuuu !!!" has to be spelled with such emotion. then it seems like its spelled 全日空うon various Japanese websites.
