The current top of the line Samsung phone is the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

It has no headphone jack.

It has no SD card slot.

The real problem is that "big business" today thinks they can get away
with having the same price (if not higher prices) while providing less
and less functionality or service ... especially when they hide it
behind the old Greenie excuse of "it's good for the environment.

Another "great" example are banks. Here in New Zealand they no longer
accept cheques, no longer do foreign cash exchange, closing branches,
and trying to push people into silly internet / phone banking (claiming
it's what people want) ... all the while charging more and more in fees.

At least with ones like budget airlines, they (somewhat) make it clear
that you're getting less service, such as no free in-flight food or
drinks.

If Apple don't want to include a charger to make themselves look more
Green, then they should at least drop the price of product and make it
very clear there isn't one in the box. Instead they charge the same
price and then charge you more if you do need a charger.

only one card is inserted and left there, negating the benefit the
trolls claim is so important.

worse, some sd slots are in the battery bay, so to swap a card, the
battery must be removed, which means shutting down the phone, thereby
making it almost certain they will never swap a card and likely won't
bother with any card.

very few have no chargers at all, but for the few who do not, they can

The fact is that Samsung is clearly dropping prices for that "flagship"
iPhone, which, we can assume, may have something to do with the lack of
flagship accessories.

Notice the newer Samsung phones _do_ have these three standard accessories:
1. Fast charger suitable for the highest speed of the phone charging circuit
2. Industry standard headphone jack
3. Industry standard sd card slot

On the Samsung iPhone, you get _none_ of these flagship features.
On the newer Samsung phones, you get _all_ of them (my A32 has them all!)

*all* of the chargers will work with the iphone 12 as well as *all*
prior iphones, *all* android phones, many flip phones, along with *all*

Well the narrative you usually hear from manufacturers of consumer
products is that when they remove things they do so to avoid raising prices.

I doubt if anyone is naive enough to believe that the elimination of
included chargers by Apple or Samsung had anything to do with being "green."

A "half gallon" of ice cream shrunk from 64 ounces to 56 ounces to 48
ounces. And when one company does it the others follow because they need
to keep the per container price competitive. I'm impressed that Publix
has kept their store brand ice cream at a half gallon, though it's not
high-quality ice cream.
