Adults here will notice I specifically talked about *SMS* messages
(which the OP's article says show up as green in the Apple Messages
app). Adults will also notice that I didn't mention "Google Messages"
at all - and neither did badgolferman's vaunted article, because Google
Messages is *irrelevant* to the topic being discussed:
