Regarding comparing the app stores for Android against that for iOS...

I have to agree with anyone who instantly sees that the "thing" nospam &
Jolly Roger are claiming as a similar alternatives to stores like "F-Droid",
is, in a word, a clusterfuck.

These apologists expected us to accept their claim a priori that these are
suitable "stores"; and yet - they're nothing of the sort.

They're both clusterfucks.
a. Apparently you must hand them your Apple ID & password?
b. Apparently their apps only last for 7 days?
c. Apparently the "thing" is down for days at a time awaiting certificates
etc.

What I don't understand is how is it possible that these apologists nospam
and Jolly Roger are so ignorant of something as basic as F-Droid?

How could they possibly compare F-Droid to those obvious iOS clusterfucks?

I have _plenty_ of iOS devices, and I'd _love_ to be able to do on them what
I do on my Android devices - which is populate any iPad on the planet with
the thousands of IPAs I would have downloaded over the years on my iPads.

I'm not using "weasel words" when I say this is _impossible_ on iOS devices.

What ceases to be shocking is how fantastically _ignorant_ the apologists
are when they claim these iOS clusterfucks are equivalent to an app store.
