I have a new Flarm Fusion. I was wondering if anyone has connected a Nano 4 to the Flarm fusion via bluetooth and can confirm that it receives the Flarm data. The answer I got from LxNav was not entirely clear and committal.

Hello, my understanding is that you cannot receive powerflarm data on a nano via bluetooth. You can on XCSoar but not Nano..
You need to connect the FLARM to the Nano's external port with wiring as depicted in the manual. At least that's what I had to do with Nano 3..could be different but I doubt it. Cheers

Bluetooth cannot handle larger files, and perhaps it is also too slow for this use.

An update on this based on my experience. I was unable to get the Nano4 to connect to the Flarm Fusion via BT. So I had to use the special adapter cable.

I would not recommend the Nano 4 as the primary flarm display because
1) Very reflective display makes it hard to read. If I could upload a digital photo you would be convinced.
2) You have to keep it in the Flarm display page since it will not automatically switch to the Flarm page if there is a potential collision.

Cheers
