I've recently started using XC Soar with Condor, and am somewhat overwhelmed by the myriad of options that can be displayed in the info boxes. I have made my initial selections based on a YouTube video by M24Tom, but am interested how others have set theirs up. What info boxes have you chosen to use, and in what pages? I've been trying to use it in VR as well, and have found it more limited in that capacity, but it will still automatically switch between a "cruise" page, a "climb" page, and a "final glide" page. Again, for those that use it, how do you have yours set up?

Are you using the PC version of XCSoar ported to the VR? It's tedious to set up, but worth it once you get it working.

Yes. I'm using the PC version. Bruce helped me get it set up in VR. And yes, I'm already part of TeamXC. Trouble is, everyone flies during times I'm not available to fly, and not too many folks are up for pick-up flights later in the evening. However, that is a different issue. With Bruce's help, I was able to get it to work in VR, and made a video about it as well:

I'm mostly interested in what info boxes and features everyone uses--what they have found works best for them. I watched Stefan Langer's video, but that didn't seem to answer my question specifically, but I didn't stop to analyze which info boxes he uses. I don't believe he specifically talks about exactly what info boxes he uses, but I may be wrong.

This video from a year ago discusses navbox setup for the TopHat glide computer, starting at about the 3 minute mark. XCSoar's navboxes are substantially the same.

I use this profile in real life and VR condor. To navigate pages in condor I use autohotkey (i can paste the script later) that passes the up dn left right arrow keys through to XCSoar which navigates pages left/right and zooms in/out. In VR that's all the XCSoar control I need.
