Tangentially related - the ASW 15 (non-B) has a problem with wing root ribs developing cracks. If cracks are found, the ribs must be replaced with ribs available from AS for $1300+/-. I own 15 with the cracks but have not flown it in 5 years ( I have another glider) and just found out about this. It looks like the fix is going to be north of $7,000. Anyone want a cheap ASW 15 in need of some TLC?
