I don't know which device is beeping all of the time, but it drives me
crazy. It's either the PowerFlarm portable, the FlarmView, or the
ClearNav II computer.

It is random in nature and I can never quite locate the source of the
sound but I don't see any close traffic on any device at the time and
I'm nowhere near any special airspace.

Any ideas?

Could it be the Mountain High Oxygen system. Beeps for low battery, beeps when you hold your breath. etc.

Depend on your flarm display and setting, powerflarm will beep whenever a new target is within the range you specified, including ADS-B. So if your range is set to say 10 miles, you will get an alert beep for every aircraft within 10 miles. Reducing the range will reduce the beeps.

I can try that as soon as the winds calm down. Maybe I could just sit
in the cockpit in the hangar with everything turned on.

I changed the batteries in the MH system in September but that's easy to
check.

That might be the ticket! I can also try reducing the altitude for targets.

It might be your vario/ClearNavII indicating to speed up or slow down. Check how you have it set.

Thanks, but that's a double beep to slow down and it occurs around 15
kias too fast. I get these beeps randomly throughout a flight and even
sitting in the hangar.

Got it! On my last flight I unplugged the FlarmView and it got
wonderfully quiet in the cockpit except when I flew too fast and then
the CNvXC would give a double beep telling me to slow down.

Dan, reduce your PCAS and ADSB ranges to something like 5 miles and 2000 feet and those beeps will actually be helpful.
