Anyone use Termux, a full unix bash for android? I installed emacs and
maxima, but had truble with missing files in the itspointless r-language and
octave installs. (All these installs are no-gui). Then I had to replace the
machine and also several total erasures, and I wasn't even able to replicate
even my partial prior progress. I suspect I may beed a better wifi access
(like university).

I use it, but not those packages. Only thing I would note is the Play
Store version uses different (and not up to date) package sources. the
F-Droid version is better.
