bluetooth le devices (not just obd) have been commonplace for roughly a
decade and are faster and more reliable than spp.

not only is it possible, but it's the very feature that dynamic spot is
trying to copy.

the real problem are his lies.

what he claims is not possible is almost always possible. he also
neglects to mention everything that's impossible on whatever he's
shilling. nothing does everything,

You've already shown in other recent threads that you know nothing about
either the Android nor the iOS dynamic spot/dynamic island products.

You just claim everything anyone ever says about either of them is wrong.

Not once have you listed anything in the iOS version not in the Android one
while the OP already listed many things in the Android not in the iOS.

Projection.

Everything you've said about the iOS/Android dynamic island/dynamic spot
has been a lie.

It's clear you don't even know what either of them does.

The F-Droid version of OSMAnd *is free and not limited* by map number.

Android has free ware adless cell info apps.
Which means the pay ware cell info is superfluous.

What does that pay ware cell info do that free ware alternatives do not?

You have to admit it's easy to bash Apple who likely spent millions making
made a huge deal out of something so easy to code that a nerdy kid, likely
in his mother's basement, was able to easily copy and then make better
since it's available on all Android phones and selectable for any Android
app and removable if you no longer want it.

You still can't list a single useful thing the 'original' Apple iOS
implementation does that the nerdy kid's Android 'copy' doesn't best.

It's clear you know absolutely nothing about dynamic island/spot.
You can't even list what either of them does that is useful to users.

It's all hype.

And, apparently, was a feature of the LG V10 back in 2015 (as well as
the HTC a few years later):

Notable quotes indicating Apple copied Android again.

"Apple has introduced a feature called Dynamic Island [which] isn't new
and we've seen it on Android smartphones before [so] Apple wasn't the first
to implement it."

"LG was actually one of the first smartphone makers to introduce [it]."

"It was kind of a new feature back then and to LG's credit,
they were trying something new in a very, very competitive space
filled with high-end, powerful smartphones."

"We have to commend LG for taking a leap with a feature
that ultimately may have provided companies like Apple
with a stepping stone for features we are seeing today."

What often occurs is that a product category or a product feature that
is very useful, but that doesn't take off for a variety of reasons,
comes back later in a better implementation, often by Apple.

The LG V10 used a separate display above the main display to implement
this "Dynamic Island" feature because they wanted to provide
notifications when the main display was turned off to save battery
power. Sometimes Apple isn't really copying Android, they are just late
with a feature for various marketing and technical reasons.

a second display is *very* different than dynamic island, and that
doesn't begin to address what can be done with either one. if you think
they're somehow equivalent, then you either have no clue what dynamic
island can do or you're deliberately lying. neither is good.
