A way better example is someone who randomly claims a poster is actually
someone else, and makes an as random assessment about the others need for
professional help ...

:-) In more ways than one, as he was talking to me as if I he thought I was
arlen.

And irony : as I'm not arlen, he seems to be lacking the capabiliy to read
message headers himself. Whoopsie !

Which makes his above claim - ofcourse again lacking even the tiniest sliver
of explanation, underbuilding and/or proof - a nice example of "the pot
calling the kettle black".

You did not provide *any* 'evidence'. If you think you did, then cite
it, including the message-id. If you don't, you lose by definition.

And while you're at it, provide the evidence for your previous - as
yet unsubstantiated - claim (Clue-by-four: WhatsApp).

The origional version (OE v6) ? True. It just deletes the posts of
killfiled people. MS stupidity. But hey, times where different back than.

Nowerdays ? A bit of tinkering by me causes it to just suppress* killfiled
posters and the responders to them, while giving them different markings
(makes it easy to spot an "echo chamber" thread when I unhide such posts).

*using a mechanism seperate from the build-in "ignore" one. That one is
still free to ad-hoc suppress way-to-long threads that supply no information
I can use.

Take a wild guess where the knowledge in the post you declared to be arlens
came from (assuming you actually read it).

And if you're wondering why such a late response than take another wild
guess. Yes indeed, you're also in my killfile, and I downloaded and saw it
just now.

Why ? Because this subthread is another fine example of how you claim your
ass off and than run away when you're told to support those claims, and I
wanted to save it.

One remark though : If you can read what I post(ed) than what do you care
about what and how old my posting program is ? That just doesn't make
sense. Than again, it just "might" be you looking for something,
*anything* to try to complain about ...
